Cinnamon Blueberry Topping
Straight from Kiki’s Kitchen we have are amazing Cinnamon Blueberry Topping. This topping is easy to make and delicious on ice cream, waffles, pancakes, blueberry shortcakes, you name it, it’s a wonderful topping for just about anything you wish to put it on.
1 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp Local Raw Honey
1/4 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
2 Cup of Fresh Blueberries
1/4 Cup of Fresh Blueberries and set these aside
Turn the stove on high and in a sauce pan you add the water, Local raw honey, cinnamon and bring to a boil. Add 1 cup of blueberries, boil a minute while stirring or until you see the blueberries softening up and nice syrup like sauce. Reduce heat to #2 and add 1 more cup of blueberries continue stirring while cooking another minute and turn off the stove.
Optional: You can add 1 drop of wild orange essential oil. This gives it an amazing boost of flavor.
Pour your topping over top of vanilla ice cream and enjoy.
You can make bigger batches by doubling up on the recipe above. I like to store some in a glass jar container and refrigerate it. When your ready to use it you can heat it up or eat cold. Either way is delicious. When cold it’s great on a nice piece of toast.
