What is Table Salt Exactly?
Table salt is a manufactured form of sodium chloride. Just as an illusionist does, table salt pulls off a first rate impression of naturally occurring salts, merely mimicking the flavor of what our bodies in reality necessitate. It’s not very comforting to learn that the taste of processed salts stem from the manufacturing of 97.5% sodium chloride and an assortment of chemicals such as dangerous fluoride, synthetic iodine, sugar, and bleaching agents to name a few.
Sourced from crude oil extract, leftover oil flakes, table salt is created through iodization, which involves no magic, but the application of high heat, which causes it to lose most of its essential elements; thus voiding its nutritional value. Furthermore, the intense heating process causes this sodium chloride substance’s internal crystalline structure to become individually isolated, meaning that it is energetically dead. Your body has to work tenfold to metabolize it, using energy that other cells and organs need.
What is in Table Salt?
Commonly purchased iodize salts, available at super markets or sitting on the tables of your favorite restaurants, have synthetic chemicals added to them. These chemicals include everything form manufacturing forms of sodium solo-co-aluminate, iodide, sodium bicarbonate, fluoride, anti-caking agents, toxic amounts of potassium iodide and aluminum derivatives. It may come as a shock, but most table salt is not only unhealthy, but can sometimes be very toxic in certain people.
Other salts add things such as processed white sugar and toxic MSG (mono-sodium-glutamate). And what about color of table salt? Salt found in the natural world is not usually white. Table salt has been colored white with bleach. And where does the salt come from? Much of it is the actual flaky residue from oil digging. That is correct. Crude oil extract is one way table salt is produced.
The Dangers of Table Salt
Table salt is unhealthy, and it can be downright toxic to your body! Iodize salt is noted for increasing blood pressure and causing bloating most notably. As the blood stream attempts to move toxic salt away from the heart expediently, your heart rate elevates, and long-term results include hypertension, high blood pressure, and coronary issues of all sorts. Bloating is due to water retention, as your system holds on to it because the system requires as much as 20 times more fluid to process, break down, and eliminate unnatural slats from the body.
Table salt causes the blood pressure to rise rapidly because the blood is attempting to move toxic elements rapidly away from your heart. This is why doctors will often tell people with high blood pressure to stop intake of salt. Moreover, excessive table salt causes us to retain waters and other fluids. Many chronic imbalances such as diabetes, gout, and obesity can be worsened or even partially caused by excessive intake of common table salt. And be aware, this salt is not just the stuff in your shakers.
Most packaged and processed foods contain astronomical amounts of table salt. These preservatives can cause swelling and, over time, major kidney, thyroid and live problems, as well as heart disease, strained elimination systems, muscle cramps, water retention, edema, stroke, heart failure, PMS, and even major nervous system disorders such as anxiety and depression.
Table salt is particularly hard on both the circulatory system and nervous system. It also wreaks havoc on the delicate balance of the lymph system in the body. This salt is also highly addictive, as the more the body becomes used to the high levels of fake sodium, the more it craves it.

Next time you sprinkle some of that table salt watch how your body reacts. You will notice within minutes your body will slowly start to bloat. Even eating any type of saltine crackers or seasonings loaded with sodium will also cause bloating.
